Matt‘s classes are phenomenal- if you ever have the ability to practice with him, make use of it!! He has a very unique talent of combining anatomy, yoga philosophy and his own perspective into a super intense package of knowledge which is fun AND easy to understand. I enjoyed the April immersion a lot as it was a great way of deepening my own practice and broadening my horizon, especially as the lifetime access allows you to take classes
as often as you want- trust me, you will want to take them again! I cant wait for next month’s classes and highly recommend everyone to take the May pass and joining in on the journey.
Covid_19 bought Matt into my home and my yoga practice. This last month I have learn’t so much it has deepened my practice and my understanding of the anatomy & biomechanics and how we use both in every asana we practice. He has also helped in my teaching, ie asking my students to think about the foot as a tripod “big toe, pinkie toe, heel ” I never imagined I would learn so much from the immersion.

Great course! I was resistant towards arm balances for a long time as I always see more good than bad coming out from them. Matt changed that for me as he let us into the anatomy and biomechanics of the poses which means we can practice arm balances intelligently! I particularly like how Matt shares the anatomy before class as that gives me a bearing on what to focus on that given class, and Im also glad that Matt takes time to answer the questions both live (which unfortunately I cant make it due to timezone issues), as well as on FB. I liked how Matt shared the anatomy before going into the practice. Arm balances are so challenging for me, so having the anatomy knowledge at hand allows me to have a focus as i enter the poses. Its till work in progress for many of the arm balances, but i’m glad to report that I know more now and feel more confident about them! Matt takes time to answer the questions live (which unfortunately doesn’t work for my timezone), but he answers on FB if one needs further support. Thanks!

I learned so much about bad habits i had picked up over the years and how to do the poses correctly. I thought that i would be intimidated by the poses, such as koundinyasa 1+2, one leg crow, handstand, tittibasana, astravakasana, and flying pidgeon, but the exercises created accessibility to the poses for me. I never felt that it was over my ability as he gave me different things to work on and crash pad ideas to build my confidence. The anatomy lessons made everything clear. I am afraid of backbends having been hurt over the years doing poses that didnt feel right. I trust matt to teach me a better way for my body and have signed up for the next inversion. I have spent tens of thousands of dollars on classes and workshops and am a certified teacher. This was the best series i have ever taken for learning what my body, with its structural and muscular oddities can do when properly aligned and engaged. I am 64 and have been teaching yoga 26 years

I really enjoyed this immersion. Each day you’ll learn what a pose requires of you physically and Matt guides you through the movements and engagements needed to achieve the pose. I am now able to do side crow, koundenyasana 1, and titibasana with confidence! If arm balances are a goal of yours, or if you just want to solidify and strengthen them, this immersion is the way to do it! Plus if you’re into the anatomy side of yoga, it doesn’t get much better than this!
